Dedicated to LuRena Hayes Johnson, 1886-1969, daughter of John Phipps Hayes and Eleanor Jane Hayes, who spent a lifetime searching for our Irish roots, and whose devotion to family history built the foundation for our Hayes Family Organization.

We reserve the right to modify any non-copywrited information submitted for publishing on this site. We reserve the right to determine what is "appropriate" material for this site, and publish or not publish information at our discretion. Eventually we may have a page to submit family stories for publishing. We may modify these submittals in keeping with our privacy policy. At the same time, we take every measure to ensure accuracy of all information on this site, as well as grammatical correctness. We are human and may make errors, and therefore do not guarantee the reliability or accuracy of any information on this site. We encourage and welcome any corrections through our comments page. We will give appropriate credit for authored materials where it is not in violation of our privacy policy.

We plan to have certain pages restricted with the use of a username and password (or possibly just a password). In these restricted areas we may divulge names of living people, email addresses, or other information otherwise not published in public areas of the site. We want to ensure a person is who they say they are. Having said all this, we don't ever plan to publish personal information or anything that is really that sensitive, mainly just names and contact information of living people. As mentioned before, we will promptly remove any information a concerned party specifically requests we remove.

Intended Use

This site strives to fulfill the following purposes: keep in contact with our Hayes relatives, share and distribute media and information, keep memories of our ancestors alive, stir interest among family members who may not know very much about their ancestors, and honor the Hayes heritage. We do not have any other intentions in publishing this site. Any use of this site outside of these specific goals,or purposes, is not in accordance with our intent.
