Dedicated to LuRena Hayes Johnson, 1886-1969, daughter of John Phipps Hayes and Eleanor Jane Hayes, who spent a lifetime searching for our Irish roots, and whose devotion to family history built the foundation for our Hayes Family Organization.

• Gaelic font  This font is used extensively throughout the site, mostly for page headings. If you don't have the font installed on your system, page headings will appear in Arial, a standard font. Downloading this font isn't necessary, but it makes this site look a little more Irish. Installing a font can be a bit tricky. Please follow the instructions that appear when you click on the link.
• Flash version 5 (or later)  If you saw the animated poem on the welcome screen then you already have this.
